Bandai Namco has trademarked “ LostBorders ” ( alternate link ), the subtitle to the its Japanese branch’s  Summon Night 6: Lost Borders , in Europe. The company currently has not announced plans to localize  Summon Night 6  for western territories, but the trademark could suggest it’s in the cards. But don’t get your hopes up too much. 'Assassin's Creed: Syndicate' - PC version to be released a month later than PS4 and Xbox One.

Ubisoft has said that the PC version of Assassin's Creed Syndicate is set to be released on November 19, 2015. This is almost a month later than the PS4 and XBox One release date on October 23. The "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" is the ninth installment of the hit and popular series Assassin's Creed. The game is now set in the Industrial Revolution period in Victorian London and the story follows around a pair of twins - Jacob and Evie - and how they fight organized crime controlled by the Templars in the Victorian era. The game has an exciting feature and for the very first time, gamers can play with both Jacob and Evie. It also features breath-taking stealth attacks and new exotic gadgets like a rope launcher which shoots a tightrope across buildings so the gamer can zipline and avoid streets completely. The game is set to be released in October 23rd for platforms, PS4 and Xbox One. H owever, Sam Kovalev, the Studio Production Manager at Ubisoft Kiev, h...

Unreal Engine 4-powered The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Redux appears on Steam

As a thoughtful supernatural adventure created by the founders of the studio that gave the gaming world " dicktits ," The Vanishing of Ethan Carter was something of a surprise. And now, a year after its launch, it's time for another surprise: It's been completely rebuilt in Unreal Engine 4 and re-released as The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Redux. The updated version came, as far as I can tell, entirely without fanfare. The Ethan Carter Steam page simply notes that anyone who buys the game will get both the original and the Redux versions, and provides a link to The Astronauts blog , which explains the situation in greater detail. The two games are identical in terms of story, and the "Redux" moniker isn't even entirely official, but a number of improvements have been made. The save system has been modified to save the world state at any point, rather than only areas that have been fully solved, and transitioning between areas will happen almost se...

Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem Release Date Revealed for Japan

Gamers and developers alike are becoming more open to crossover titles as time goes on. After seeing the success of massive crossover hits like Nintendo’s  Super Smash Bros. series, studios are increasingly less protective of their original characters, allowing them to appear in other developers’ projects. In a world where Ryu can go toe-to-toe with Pikachu while on a pirate ship, it’s hard to be anything but confident that two successful IPs can be mashed together into another popular franchise. In the case of Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem , Atlus and Intelligent Systems’ attempt to fuse two ubiquitous JRPG titles together, any confidence the developers have in the title is justified. The critically acclaimed  Fire Emblem: Awakening  proved to be a global hit, and the  Shin Megami Tensei  series has gained traction worldwide with its high-quality 3DS offerings. Despite their worldwide appeal, both  Shin Megami Tensei and...

Anno 2205 Trailer Is Up Against The Elements With The New Arctic Zone

I’ve always wondered where they find those people to do AI-twinged voice-overs for sci-fi strategy games, but Anno 2205 ’s creative director Dirk Riegert has solved the mystery once and for all in the latest trailer for Blue Byte’s game. He sounds like he should be telling me where the emergency exits are on a drop-pod. Anyway, aside from Riegart’s mesmerising voice there’s all sorts of words being spouted about the real-time strategy / city builder mish-mash that is Anno 2205. There’s a total of four different environments that need to be managed concurrently, comprising a crater on the Moon, a temperate Earth climate, and the iceberg-laden Arctic, and combat missions. This time around combat is being spun off entirely from the city-building, so players will have 'crisis sectors' where war is waged. This is after fan feedback when players were, perhaps understandably, a bit miffed when their well-constructed cityscapes were blown to smithereens by invaders. The ...

Some Art to Help Pass the Time Until the Next ‘Inner Chains’ Trailer

The teaser for Inner Chains was an effective way to introduce what looks like an extremely promising new horror title, but it also left me hungry to see more of the game’s strange, biomechanical world. One of the few details we have so far is that it was inspired by the work of Tomasz Strzałkowski, the artist and founder of Telepaths Tree, the studio that’s developing it. I cover horror art all the time here on Bloody Disgusting, and since Tomasz seems to favor our favorite genre I figured we could pass the time between Inner Chains teasers by soaking up more of this talented artist’s freaky, almost Giger-esque creations.  For more of Strzałkowski’s work, take a look at his gallery.

As reported by All Games Beta , Rashid, who was introduced in the games 12 event in Dubai, is a "laid back" character who shows great obsession for the latest gadgets and technology. He was described as a wind-wielding acrobatic fighter who is always eager to buy new gadgets that he uses to research and form his new combat moves. The trailer for Rashid was also released, introducing him as "Rashid of the Turbulent Wind" which explains his ability to control the wind and harness small and medium sized whirlwinds during a fight. Not to mention that he can make himself a huge tornado as seen in the finishing move he made in the trailer. ...
