'FIFA 16' Demo Reveals 12 Women's Teams, New Game Modes, Gameplay Changes; Full Game To be Released on September 22

FIFA 16

The newest EA Sports' "FIFA 16" demo will kick off on September 8-10, in different regions across the globe.  This early, many are already abuzz about the changes and additional teams in the new FIFA installment.  The demo was released on PC, Playstation 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.  The full game will be launched on September 22.
According to Time, Xbox users were the first ones who had the chance to download the game on September 8, but  still depending on geographical location.  "FIFA 16" will be available on Playstation 4 in the evening of September 7 and 8.
Twelve women's national teams are added to the game, making this inclusion as one of the most important changes to the 22-year history of the franchise, as reported in the Evening Standard.  The roster includes the England's World Cup bronze medalists.  There are also several new stadiums to kick the ball in, which include the League Two venue Fratton Park and Bundesliga.
The women's teams playing in "FIFA 16" is perhaps the most-anticipated part in this series.  This will both be special and a milestone for the franchise, as reported in Engadget.  This will be the first time that EA will allow players to play the football game in one of the 12 women's national teams.  Those who had tried the game early on said that there's really a big difference in playing with women than with men.  Surprisingly though, games with women are said to be more fast-paced.
Game modes included in the demo are one-off matches and skills games, as well as the new "FIFA" Trainer which helps players enhance their in-game skills.  Also revealed in the demo is the new Ultimate Team Draft mode, which allows players to assemble their own squad of choice.
The Independent enumerated the different teams where players can participate in "FIFA 16" games.  The list is composed of Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Chelsea FC, Inter, Milan, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid CF, River Plate and Seattle Sounders.  On the other hand, the two women's teams from Germany and the United States are also playable.
There are miniscule yet significant changes in the "FIFA 16" gameplay, which include improvements to the skills of keepers and a habitual slack in the pace of the games, which gets even more obvious when players get exhausted.  Passing seem to be more difficult to do as players need to kick passes to the intended recipient.  In this "FIFA" title, There are more aggressive players in the field, including the goalkeepers.  There are more realistic player reactions which deliver a more desirable midfield capable of stopping the ball on defense and opening up passing lanes on offense.
There are a couple of firsts in this "FIFA" series.  EA had included female teams into the game and players on the covers were chosen by popular vote.  The game also has 78 stadiums, including 50 real-world venues to boot.  With all these packed in the demo, players and fans can't wait for "FIFA 16"'s official release.  And EA Sports might claim a goal on the way.

Microsoft upgrades its Surface tablets to Windows 10

Consumers interested in buying one of Microsoft's Surface tablets will now find it with Windows 10 preinstalled. Microsoft's  online page  for its lower-cost Surface lineup shows that the tablet now comes with Windows 10 Home edition. The page for the pricier and beefier Surface Pro 3  indicates that they're outfitted with Windows 10 Pro edition. Microsoft has been on a tear to push out Windows 10, partly to make up for the poor response to Windows 8 and partly to get as many Windows users as possible all on the same platform. The company has been offering Windows 10 as a free upgrade to Windows 7 and 8.1 users for the first year. Last Thursday, Microsoft announced that the new OS was  running on 14 million devices  since its official launch the previous day. Now the challenge is to get PC and tablet makers to outfit their new devices with Windows 10. Microsoft certainly would want to lead the way, so it's natural for its own Surface tablets to now be sporting W...
