Kick-starting 2016 with a new smartphone, Xiaomi has unveiled its latest Redmi 3 that boasts of a new diamond-patterned metal design and a mammoth battery. At 144g light, the Redmi 3 measures 8.55mm and features a 5-inch display. The phone is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 616 processor with 2 GB of RAM and includes 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.    It includes 16 GB internal storage with an option for memory expansion up to 128 GB via microSD card. One of the highlights of the phone is its bumper 4,100mAh battery with fast charge technology. The Android smartphone is based on MIUI 7 and comes with a dual hybrid SIM slot, which means it could house either two SIM cards at once or one SIM card and a memory card. It is available in three colour choices in both diamond-pattern and solid colour design. The Redmi 3 is currently available China-only and is priced at CNY 699 (approx. Rs 7,142) with an expected rollout in other nations.

Gameloft's Dungeon Hunter franchise has gone through some major changes during its life on the App Store, the biggest one being the switch from premium to freemium, a move that was seen as anathema by many players. First revealed during the Video Game Awards, the Kombat Pack 2 for "Mortal Kombat X" is set to introduce new characters to the game. To further hype the DLC game creator Ed Boon made a new announcement regarding the Kombat Pack 2. In an announcement made via the official Twitter account of Ed Boon , the creator said that a gameplay trailer for the second Kombat Pack will be revealed this week.
