'Attack on Titan' season 2 news, spoilers: Levi's death might be coming soon; Erwin becomes a Titan

"Attack on Titan" season 2 still has no specific release date. However, it seems that the speculations are now coming in on what can be expected from the storyline. Movie News Guide  reports that an impending death may be occurring soon that involves none other than Captain Levi Ackerman. The reason for his death, though, may be more of heroic than tragic. After the last chapter, many feel that it's simply a prequel to the imminent storm. Theories state that Levi's death will be triggered by his intense desire to protect the Shiganshina Trio, which comprises Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert. Caring so much for the trio might also lead Levi to make an ultimate choice between them and his fellow Survey Corps Erwin Smith. Another assumption is that Erwin would be the one meeting his demise after the death flag was raised over his head since execution. However, it is said that Erwin will take on the responsibility of injecting the serum in h...

Microsoft is planning to launch its Office 2016 suite next month. After releasing a Mac equivalent in July , Microsoft's Office 2016 for Windows won't provide many major changes over the existing version.  WinFuture reports that Office 2016 for Windows will arrive on September 22nd, for home and professional users initially. The new desktop release includes a  new "colorful" theme that's identical to the latest Mac, iOS, and Android apps. It's also similar to the Windows 10 touch-optimized versions of Office, with a colored look that matches the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications. The new colorful option arrives alongside a dark theme for those who dislike the traditional look of Microsoft's Office apps. Microsoft is improving Outlook 2016 search, attachments, storage footprint, and email delivery performance, alongside some improvements to image insertion in Word 2016 and Excel 2016. Perhaps the biggest change in Word allows f...

"Evolution and Harmony" is the launch trailer for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, which will be released on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 1 September. Kojima is expected to part ways with publisher Konami following the game's anticipated launch, leaving the future of the series in their hands. The cause for the apparent rift, like Kojima's own future, is unknown. You can watch the emotionally-charged trailer below... The trailer charts the journey of the Solid series to date, from 1998's original to PSP title Peace Walker in 2010. It then shifts tones to show the latest game, and its new metal gear, an enormous machine called Metal Gear Sahelanthropus. "As the launch is approaching I'm editing new trailer w/less spoiler. 'The evolution & harmony of Metal Gear,'" said Kojima on Twitter back in August. Later he a...

No Windows 10 Mobile for Phones With Less Than 8GB Internal Storage

If you own a Windows Phone-powered handset and it has less than 8GB of internal storage, don't expect it to receive the forthcoming Windows 10 Mobile software update. Microsoft has quietly mentioned in one of Windows 10 information pages that Windows 10 Mobile won't be compatible with handsets that have 4GB of internal storage (or officially 'at least 8GB'), irrespective of the presence of a microSD slot. While most "modern" Windows Phone handsets won't be affected with this hardware requirement, there are still a handful of smartphones that won't be able to receive the update. The affected handsets include the Lumia 530 , Kazam Thunder 450W, Kazam Thunder 450WL, Karbonn Titanium Wind W4 , Celkon Win 400 , iBall Andi4L Pulse , BLU Win JR LTE , and Yezz Billy 4. Microsoft detailed in March that Windows 10 Mobile will be compatible with devices that have at least 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage (provided the device h...

Intel unveils ultra-tiny, fully upgradable '5x5' mini-PC motherboards

Intel rolled out a new motherboard at its developer conference that offers more power than a NUC, but less than the mini-ITX. A lot of exciting technology was on display at Intel's IDF conference last week, but traditional PC hardware seemingly took a backseat to smart devices and the Internet of things. So much so, in fact, that one exciting PC-related tidbit that could’ve made more noise than button-sized chips and Wake on Voice  was lost in the shuffle: The introduction of new compact motherboard that sits between the mini-ITX and Intel NUC in terms of size. The addition now offers a wide range of possibilities for compact PCs, from the Intel Compute Stick  all the way up to the aforementioned mini-ITX form factor. Dubbed the 5x5, the new motherboard doesn't quite live up to its name, measuring 5.5 inches by 5.8. Nevertheless, it’s still smaller than the 6.69-by-6.69 mini-ITX and a bit larger than the 4-by-4 NUC board. Unlike the NUC, which ships with chips so...

The PC edition of the game boasts a slew of enticing features including larger resolutions, Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR), the possibility of frame uncaps and even the ability to play the game on an NVIDIA SHIELD device via its support for NVIDIA GameStream . Just to prove the point, Konami has released a trailer for The Phantom Pain, showing the game running on PC at 4K resolution and detailing just how great it looks on a well-specced hunk of PC hardware. Naturally you'll need a newer GPU if you want to see it running in 4K on your machine, but NVIDIA – which is working with Konami to ensure the game looks top notch – is riding to the rescue with a sweet offer: it's bundling...

In terms of compatibility, the producer has provided 4 downloadable packages suitable for desktop and notebook configurations running either 32- or 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system. As for installation, simply save and run the appropriate package designed for your computer, wait for all files required for the installation to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on screen for a complete and successful upgrade. In addition to that, it would also be a good idea to perform a system restart in order to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, make sure to carry it out manually so that no problems will be encountered. Moreover, bear in mind that trying to install NVIDIA’s 355....

Customers start to receive Nvidia SHIELD tablet replacements

At the end of July Nvidia issued a recall affecting many SHIELD tablet owners. If you bought such a tablet between July 2014 and July 2015 and found, via the system status control panel, that your device had a battery type 'Y01' you were advised to take part in the recall process to get a new one. Put simply, Y01 battery equipped SHIELD tablets are a fire hazard, though we never saw any reports of this hazardous nature in the media. According to a recent report on Fudzilla, those who participated in the recall program have now started to receive new Nvidia SHIELD tablets. It says that "Nvidia doesn’t want the old tablet back; it will remotely kill the device, how nice is that". Furthermore the report states that Nvidia suggests you rid yourself of the old tablet following your country's guidelines for electronics waste disposal. If you do have received a replacement for your old hazardous tablet Fudzilla advises you to backup the old one properly befor...
